Q:
Is
it difficult to install WELLights?
A: Not at all. The lighting is low voltage similar to landscape
lighting so you do not need an electrician. The base system contains
a transformer which mounts to the outside of your home and plugs
into a standard outlet. Then a wire is run from the transformer
to the well. The wire can be buried a few inches under ground to
hide it. If additional fixtures are used they can be run in series
from one fixture to the next. |
Q:
What type of product warranty do you offer?
A:
Our WELLight product comes with the original equipment manufacturers
warranty which is 10 years. We do not warranty bulbs since there
is no telling when they may burn out. However, the bulbs are inexpensive
and available from most local home stores. |

Q:
Can
I purchase window well covers over the internet?
A:
Yes, but you must provide us with a template created by tracing
the window well shape. Please call for more information. |
Q:

A:
No, becasue if we did it would increase the cost. However, the
size of your covers are very easy to measure please see our Pricing

Q:
Do you make the covers on-site?
A:
Yes, we pre-cut the materials at our warehouse and then custom
fit and assemble them on-site. |
Q:
How long does it take to get covers?
A:
We usually can schedule you for the next week, but this can
vary depending on how many orders we have to fill. |
Q:
Why do you use Polycarbonate?
A:
It is the best product available for the job. It is nearly indistructable,
is translucent (maximum natural light passes through) and it won't
yellow or dry out over time. |
Q:
Do you offer locking mechanisms?
A:
Yes, we offer the best and safest locking system available.
It is called a SmartLock and is specially designed for quick release
in case of emergency. The locking system locks the covers down from
the inside so they can not be removed from the outside. Locks add
additional security against intruders, as well as safety from children
pulling off the cover. |
